Appointed by the City Council, the City Clerk serves the Mayor, the City Council and the City Manager and is called upon daily without exception for services or information.

The City Clerk's office is the link between the residents of Norwalk and their government. In addition, the City Clerk coordinates and maintains the City Code as well as covering the proceedings of the City Council.

The City Code is now available as a searchable document online. That searchable code can be found here.

This office is where you will find billing information on utilities, such as water, storm water and sewer services. Various fees and permits are also issued through the City Clerk's office such as: liquor licenses, dog licenses, tobacco permits, and special events permits.

The City Council meets the first and third Thursday of each month.
