Mowing

The Public Works Dept. is responsible for mowing some of the right of ways within the City corporate limits.  The City typically makes one pass on both sides of the road on an "as needed" basis, which is typically 3 or 4 times a year.  We also perform street island maintenance.

It is the responsibility of the property owner to mow and maintain the right of way that is abutting to their property per Section 135.10 "Maintenance and Parking or Terrace" of the City Code.
