A few words from Jean Bosch, the new library director at Norwalk Easter Public Library:

I am delighted to have been selected as the new director of Norwalk Easter Public Library!  I look forward to meeting community members and discovering what makes Norwalk a special community.

I have extensive experience working in libraries in Iowa, Colorado, and Texas, primarily in library management. Some of my most meaningful work has been in youth services, program planning, and renovation/expansion projects. My most recent position was director of Winterset Public Library.

I graduated from Chadron State College in my hometown of Chadron, Nebraska with a B.A. in Library Media and English: Mass Media. I earned my Master's degree in Library and Informational Science from the University of Missouri.

I enjoy reading, cross-stitching, and baseball (go Rockies!). Also high on my list are spending time outdoors, particularly gardening, sightseeing, and visiting museums and botanic gardens (especially those that have the artistic glass of Dale Chihuly on exhibit). I currently live in Winterset with my teen daughter and our two dogs and cat.

I am looking forward to strengthening community connections and meeting the citizens of Norwalk to find out what the library means to them. See you soon!
